Students traded their icy poles for pencils at Beaconhills College for the first day of class on Friday 31 January.

With prep enrolments running at 96 percent capacity at Beaconhills College’s Pakenham and Berwick campuses, 75 preps are divided into three classes at each campus.

“It was delightful to see our new Prep students starting school on Friday,” Beaconhills College Pakenham’s head of junior School Kristen Smith said.

“In spite of the heat, they have had a wonderful beginning with their homeroom teachers.

“They have begun to explore their new learning spaces, made new friends and connect with other teachers in our learning community.”
