Fashion steps forward

THE fashion was red hot at the VIP Fashion Festival in Berwick.
More than 400 women roamed Berwick Village after hours on Friday 7 October as part of the inaugural mega fashion event held by the newly former Berwick Business Group.
Gorgeous little girls through to adult fashionistas paraded up and down the catwalk, showing off unique designs including a dress made with the pages of the Berwick News newspaper.
Fashion-forward guests were treated to tea and scones at Berwick Footwear, beauty and teen workshops and Berwick Pharmacy while kids enjoyed yoga in the park as provided by Glow Perinatal Clinic.
iBare also put on a scarf demonstration, while Little Black Bag gave away some styling secrets.
More than 25 businesses came together to take part in the event focussed on welcoming to community to come into town.
One lucky winner took out an overnight accommodation package donated by The Departure Lounge.
It’s hoped there will be another fashion event next year.
Traders are advising shoppers to look out for the their Christmas Spectacular event in December.
