That changed on Sunday when heavy winds forced a tree down at the back of Star’s headquarters on the corner of Princes Highway and Army Road in Pakenham.
The tree landed on the back of the building and, fortunately, the only real damage done was to a production department window, which was shattered by a branch.
The mess was quickly cleaned up, and staff were back on the job reporting on the wind and power dramas elsewhere.
