IT’S a big day in the lives of every young boy and girl, but at Officer Primary School the red carpet was literally rolled out for its prep students’ first day at school.
New preps and their parents walked side by side down the royal entrance into school which parents such as Danni thought was a great way to cure their children’s first day jitters.
“Beautiful welcome, red carpet treatment!“ she said on Facebook.
She was astounded by the new school’s bold welcome.
“Thank you. My little Prep girl Ruby was so excited it made walking into school easier.”
At Pakenham Primary School, Bella (pictured) was already feeling right at home as she got herself aquainted with the all important playground equipment.
