Car stolen – briefly

A CAR stolen from outside a Pakenham home was located soon after within walking distance.
Between 6pm on Sunday 14 August and 6.30am on Monday 15 August, a 2006 white tradesman’s ute was stolen from outside of a Johnsons Place, Pakenham home.
The ute had a number of tools on board when it was stolen.
The victim reported it as stolen to police, admitting the left door had been left unlocked and keys left inside.
However, the car was located a short distance away before midday on Monday.
Police reported the vehicle was found in Donday Court – about 350 metres’ drive from where the vehicle was stolen.
No-one has been charged.
