PAKENHAM small businesses will have access to free mentoring and support services this month to coincide with the Small Business Festival.
As part of the festival, a Small Business Bus full of industry experts will visit Pakenham, offering valuable advice to local business owners.
Residents will also have access to a free workshop about how to best approach starting a new business.
The mentoring specialists skilled in marketing, finance, human resources and sales have extensive experience in operating a small business and in senior business management roles.
Minister for Small Business Philip Dalidakis said the Small Business Festival was an opportunity to access expert face-to-face advice.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and the Labor Government is providing them with ongoing business support services, encouraging them to grow and create more local jobs,“ Mr Dalidakis said.
“The highly successful workshops will be a big drawcard of this year’s Small Business Festival – which is being delivered to more regional cities and towns than ever before.”
The Small Business Bus will visit Pakenham between 10am and 4pm on Monday 15 August at Pakenham Place Shopping Centre car park, between Target and Woolworths. Session bookings are essential.
The Starting Your Business Right workshop will be held at 1pm on Wednesday 24 August at Living and Learning, 6B Henry Street, Pakenham.
