THREE cars were stolen from outside Officer homes in recent days – two of them pinched from one targeted property one night after the other.
All cars have since been recovered at separate Dandenong addresses, though police are continuing to investigate the suspicious thefts.
Between 9.30pm on Thursday 28 May and 7.30am on Friday 29 May, a blue Ford Territory station wagon was stolen from out the front of a Flemington Rise, Officer home.
If that weren’t enough – another car was stolen from outside the same home the next night.
Police confirmed a white Holden Captiva was pinched from outside the same home between 9.30pm on Friday 29 May and 5am on Saturday 30 May.
A yellow Commodore Holden Ute was also taken from outside a Norma Crescent, Officer home overnight on Thursday 28 May.
Police said victims awoke the next morning to find their car gone, including $1000 worth of tools.
All cars have since been recovered. Police were unable to confirm the condition of each car.
No one has been charged in relation to the theft.
Anyone with information about the thefts are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
