IT’S not often multiple sets of twins are born at a time in St John of God in Berwick. But nurses have had the pleasure of taking care of two sets of girl twins at the same time – and are awaiting the next set in the coming days.
The beautiful girls lay fast asleep together in the Special Care Nursery under the watchful eyes of delighted hospital staff on Monday 30 May.
Twins Eden and Macy Saraikin were welcomed by parents Tanya and Alex of Pakenham and big sister Mila, 2.
Ebony and Justin Marcolongo, of Narre Warren South, along with big sister Ava, 3, were thrilled to welcome Emily Rose and Lucy Violet.
It is expected that Emily and Lucy will head home with their parents tomorrow morning.
Another set of twins is due for arrival at the hospital within the week.
