Two airlifted from crash

TWO people aged in their fifties were airlifted to hospital in a serious condition, and another two were transferred by road to hospital following a two-car crash in Pakenham South.
It is believed two cars collided on Healesville-Kooweerup Road near Soldiers Road in Pakenham South after 1.30pm on Friday 18 March.
One person thought to be aged in their fifties was trapped, suffering chest injuries.
They were flown by air ambulance to the Alfred Hospital in a serious condition.
Another person, also thought to be aged in their ffities, was taken by road to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
Another two people involved in the smash were transferred to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition.
Police closed the road as emergency workers including paramedics and fire-fighters worked on scene.
