A CHILD accused of robbery and assault in Pakenham was arrested by police in the dead of night hours after committing the alleged crimes.
Police arrested the 12-year-old Pakenham boy on Main Street about 1.20am on Friday 18 March.
The arrest followed reports of a young boy being assaulted near Pakenham train station around the same time but police were unable to confirm if the alleged incident was related.
