STUDENTS at Pakenham Hills Primary School were joined by some very special guests in class last week.
Grandparents were invited to the school to join in activities including art, craft, computers, maths, writing and origami. All students at the school were involved in the event.
Teacher Paul Taylor said it was a great day for grandparents and children alike.
“The school thinks Grandparents mornings are special,” he said.
“They connect the generations and give grandparents the opportunity to see what their grandchildren are doing at school.”
Though most grandparents are local, there have previously been interstate and even overseas visitors for the event.
Pakenham Hills has been hosting Grandparents mornings for over 10 years.
