Sun won’t set on his game

Leigh Greening reflects upon his unusual golfing trips around the world. 122951_11

FORMER Bunyip Football Club secretary Leigh Greening has been making a name for himself around the world over the past few years on the left-handed golfing circuit.
Leigh reveals in this week’s popular Beer O’Clock column that his passion for the game has taken him around the globe.
He says he has played on a golf course starting with every letter of the alphabet with the exception of ‘x’, but had found one in China and expected to tick that off in the next 12 months.
Maybe on the way home from the Arctic Open in Iceland next year. That’s right, it’s the world’s most northern course and tee-off time is midnight, given there is daylight 24 hours a day up there at that time of year.
