HERE’S a chance to enjoy a vibrant musical journey through sultry Latin soul, fiery Spanish flamenco and much more from two talented musicians.
Crystal Laine’s warm, sensual and intimate vocals combine with Matthew Fagan’s impressive finger-style guitar technique to create an intimate connection with the audience through their superb technical ability and emotionally charged execution.
Crystal will share vibrant and joyous Brazilian bossa and jazz songs made famous by Astrud Gilberto – Girl from Ipanema, Mas Que Nada and many more. While a particular highlight of Matthew’s performance will be original flamenco music that Matthew performed live on the opening episode, season two of Channel 7s Winners and Losers.
Come prepared with requests of your favourite guitar tunes for Matthew to perform in the hilarious Guitar Challenge. Matthew is no stranger to the stage and has toured with an extraordinary array of the world’s greats, including; Natalie Cole, The Original Buena Vista Social Club, Shirley Bassey, Michael Crawford and Billy Connolly.
