Only one team remains standing at the top of the South West Gippsland Darts League (SWGDL) after Just Social made a one-act affair of its top-of-the-table clash against the Snipers.
Socials continued their recent run of great form with an unexpected 11-4 victory, handing the Snipers their first taste of defeat for the year.
Dean, from Snipers, tried his best to halt the onslaught, throwing eight tons for the night, but Terry threw six tons for the Socials to keep the Snipers at bay.
Paky One has bounced back to the winners’ list in style, scoring a 13-2 win over Middels to move to third on the ladder. Paky lost narrowly to Snipers last week but put that behind them with a very impressive display.
Glenn, from Middels, produced the highlight of the game with a 117 checkout.
In other games, Rebels have now moved into the top four after a hard-fought 8-7 victory over the Warriors – who have now lost three games by the smallest of margins.
Ant from the Warriors threw a 180…his second in two weeks.
And Gembrook continues to build momentum, making it consecutive victories with a 9-6 win over the winless Mud Rats.
