DEEP CREEK GOLF CLUB

Early morning players overheard some big cheers coming from the second green at Deep Creek Golf Club on Saturday after Ross Stewart kicked off the day in grand style with a hole-in-one on the 140-metre par three.

Stewart was understandably delighted with his ace, but it soon became evident that scoring five points on the hole was – quite literally – pointless, with his playing partner wiping the hole in the Four-Ball Multiplication Stableford event.

Stewart’s five points, multiplied by the zero from his partner…well it equals zero!

Despite not benefitting from a team sense…its great reward for Stewart who has been a regular at Pakenham…now Deep Creek…for many years.

Congratulations Ross from everyone at the club.
