With just one round left to play in the AFL Outer East’s Premier Division home and away season, the Gazette has taken a look at the individuals who have performed consistently across the 2019 season in the best and fairest form guide for each of the nine clubs.

Based on the Outer East website throughout the season, clubs have entered their best players for each round, with many stars of the competition showcasing their remarkable consistency in what provides the perfect indication of just who has excelled across the season.

From the south-east clubs, a full year at Beaconsfield has seen Sean Dwyer enjoyed a stellar season, while the ever-consistent Jake Bowd has once again been prominent. The champion Berwick side has once again been blessed by strong seasons by its premiership stars, with a late surge of form in the back-end of the season seeing the great Madi Andrews take the lead at the club, while Shaun Marusic has been a shining light in an at times tough season for Cranbourne, while Bailey Buntine has come on in leaps and bounds. For Narre Warren, skipper Dylan Quirk and gun midfielders Trent Cody and Nathan Foote are playing some absolutely brilliant football.

On the Yarra Valley side of things, Dylan Wilson has been unbelievably consistent at Olinda Ferny Creek, while Liam Beacom has had plenty of standout performances in a terrific season for Upwey Tecoma. Wandin’s resurgence back into finals calculations has been brought upon by players like Rohan Heasley, David Barton, and of course young star Patrick Bruzzese, while Hayden Smith has been one of the players of the season and a genuine chance for a league best and fairest in a stellar season for Woori Yallock. Healesville’s Jake Roe-Duggan has also been a shining light for his club in a tough season for the Bloods.
