UNDER 11

Berwick Springs has pulled off one of the great comeback wins of the SEJ Under-11 Blue season against Cranbourne on Sunday.

With Brody Larner and Archer Frenken in great form, Cranny led by 18 points at the first two breaks before the Titans began to edge back.

They cut the margin to a gettable 13 points at the final break, before kicking 3.3 to 1.1 in the final term to score a memorable one-point victory.

Mason Dickson and Aiden Eddington snagged two each for the Titans, while Lachlan Jencke and Nathaniel Keys contributed one goal each.

Officer and Pakenham also played out a nail-biter, with Officer holding off a fast finish from the Lions to score a two-point win.

Darcy Cowlishaw, James McCasker, Thomas Pollard and Xavier Roberts did the early damage for the Roos, before Noah De Bono, Oliver McLeod, Patton Timmer began the Lions’ fight-back.

The Lions kicked 2.2 to no score in the final term but just fell short of victory.

In other games, Lyndhurst was too strong for Narre North Black, while Kade Freeman kicked three goals and Lincoln Mulholland two in Berwick’s comfortable win over Foxes Grey.

In Under-11 Red, Riley Hayle booted five goals and his brother Brayden three in Clyde’s impressive win over Narre Warren, while two goals to Blake Triffet wasn’t enough to get Narre South over the line against Berwick North.

Harrison Miller starred in Officer’s win over Fountain Gate, while Samual Girardo, Phoenix Mei and Zachary Smithells nailed two goals each in Berwick’s win over Pakenham.

UNDER 12 GIRLS

A goal-kicking shootout took place between Pakenham’s Olivia Thomas and Clyde’s Ekamjot Kaur Shergill at Clyde on Sunday.

Thomas showed her class by kicking four goals for the Lions, while Shergill slotted three of the Cougars four six-pointers as the Lions ran out winners by 46 points.

Not to be outdone was Berwick’s Hunter-Rose Whitfield who slammed three through the big sticks against Officer.

And SEJ representative Dakota Johnson kicked four goals for Cranbourne, and Ella Black two for Berwick Springs, as the Eagles defeated the Titans by 28 points at Cam Reserve on Sunday.

UNDER 12

The best game this week saw Berwick hold on for a thrilling one-point win over a brave Narre Warren, who came from 14 points down to almost snatch victory.

Eli Howman kicked three goals in Berwick’s win, while Flynn Wong She, Chace Wood, Romeo Miller, Liam Riky, Harry Viney and Callan Snell all played well for the Magpies.

Hunter Tuiavii had a day out, booting five goals for Clyde against Parkmore, with skipper Jamie Mathieson and Lennox Misiluki also chiming in with a couple each.

And Riley Britt, Hudson Bell, Lachlan Elston, Chase Taylor, Leonardo Ailoaei, Aiden Coote, Jake Davey, William Hickey, Jordan Lambert-Govaars, Levi Monckton, Luke Morrison and Jayden Pritchard all experienced the joy of kicking goals for Pakenham against Narre North Grey.

In Under-12 Blue, Mehrab Pal Singh Kang, Noah Macreadie, Lir Allen, Seth Curry, Harlan Pollard and Jackson Marshall all played well for Officer Black against Lyndhurst, while Cadel Byrne (4), Alexander Mumford (3), Archer Freeman (2) and Ryder Sneddon (2) all kicked multiple goals for Berwick against Cranbourne.

And Officer Blue showed off its impressive array of talent with Flynn Kelly (3), Ollie Main (3), Brodie Cassidy (2), Jax Leone (2), William Mita (2), Jordan Curry, Jake Day, Noah Janky, Koby Kidd, Lucca Lardieri, Finn Pate, Briley Steur and Jobe Tomek all threading goals through the big sticks against Berwick Springs Blue.

UNDER 13

Comfortable wins to Berwick White and Officer Blue maintains their status as the teams to beat in Premier Division.

Dustin Priela kicked five for Berwick in the 29-point win over Frankston Red, and Kyan Carter, Elijah Honeyford and Finn Granger were some of Officer’s best in a 68-point win over Langwarrin.

Berwick Springs Blue continues to keep pace with the top sides in Blue division, winning a fourth consecutive game to move into third place on percentage.

Narre North Black also secured a win over Chelsea, while Devon Meadows was not as successful against ladder-leading Frankston.

Cranbourne Blue held off a charging Karingal Red in sneak home in an epic one-point win in Gold, with Narre Warren Black and Berwick Navy also picking up four points.

Pakenham Maroon’s percentage has grown to a ridiculous 602.56 courtesy of a 55-point win over Seaford Black in Navy, with Ashton Burn leading the charge with five goals.

UNDER 14

Narre North Girls Black weathered a furious Berwick White comeback to prevail by eight points at Narre Warren North Reserve in Blue.

Three goals to Gemma Ferguson helped Cranbourne’s Blue Girls team to a nine-point win over Mount Eliza Blue.

Pearcedale’s Girls, meanwhile, upset Edithvale Aspendale Eagles in Premier Division by 16 points, thanks to starring performances from Paige Hutchinson, Tahlia Gallucci, Hailey Levy and Zara Rice.

In Mixed Blue Division, Devon Meadows remains the team to beat, thanks to a 55-point win over Mt Eliza Blue.

Luke Brearley, Chadd Tootell and Koby Young each kicked three for the Panthers.

Five goals to Benjamin Di Nicolantonio helped Pearcedale Baxter pull off an 82-point upset win against Mornington in Gold, supported by Hunter Fritchley, Jake Bremner and Deacon McConville.

Narre South’s dynamic duo of Zac Ebeyer and Koby Brennan combined for nine goals in the Saints’ 69-point win over Berwick Springs in Navy, but Berwick Navy remains hot on the Saints’ heels at the top of the table thanks to a 64-point win over Narre North Black.

Jarvis Vandenbroeck (five goals), Jordan O’Connell, Jayden Stevens (both three) and Thomas Wolfe (two) each cashed in in Pakenham Maroon’s 103-point win over Mount Eliza in Orange.

Berwick White, meanwhile, held on to its undefeated streak in Premier Division in a thrilling three-point win over Langwarrin, 53-50.

It’s eight wins in a row for the Berwick boys, three-and-a-half wins clear at the top of the table.

UNDER 15

Narre North Boys Black came from behind at three-quarter-time to run down Berwick Springs Blue by 27 points, kicking five goals to nil in the final quarter to headline Blue Division.

Phoenix Mataupu kicked four goals in Cranbourne Blue’s 87-point win over Mount Eliza Blue in Gold, but Devon Meadows had its hearts break in a four-point loss to Seaford.

Five goals to Pakenham Maroon’s Mason Mathews and three for Lachlan Davey were critical in the Lions’ nail-biting three-point win over Carrum Downs in Navy.

Narre North Grey made it three wins on the trot thanks to a 42-point win over Lyndhurst in Orange to move clear into top spot, as the only side with three wins.

UNDER 16 BOYS

Lucas Hill and Aidan Murphy combined for nine goals in Narre North’s demolition of Officer, while Oliver Geerts was also strong and well supported by Benjamin Greene, Cooper Finlay and Josiah Stanford.

Brady Dixon kicked five goals in Devon Meadows’ demolition of Seaford, while Diesel De Santis and Beau Potter kicked multiples in Officer’s victory at Mount Martha, and Ethan Ladouceur and Sam Green showed their talent in the Titans’ loss to Dromana.

Fountain Gate overcame a sluggish start to overpower Berwick Springs, while Charlie Ellis kicked two of Cranbourne’s three goals in a low-scoring victory at Rosebud.

UNDER 16 GIRLS

Bianca Hancock, Tanyaradzwa Hunda and Marnie Wellsteed each hit the scoreboard in Cranbourne’s comfortable win over Fountain Gate, while Sianna Stojanovic continued her goal kicking ways in Berwick’s loss to Mount Martha.

Narre North went down to Frankston Dolphins, Seaford was too good for Berwick Springs and Pakenham was bested by Langwarrin.

UNDER 17

Sebastian Sottile and Lachlan Chase formed a venomous duo in attack for Officer on Saturday, helping Officer get the job done 9.6 60 to 6.6 42 against Bonbeach.

The pair combined for seven of their team’s goals in a tight game which sees Officer draw level on eight points with Bonbeach.

Meanwhile, Berwick had an 18-point loss to Langwarrin.

Cohan McMurtie kicked five for Cranbourne in its big win over Edi-Asp, while Jordan Bayley, Byron Flynn and Tarkyn Harter all kicked multiples.

For Pakenham, talismanic skipper Brock Lyons kicked two goals en route to his team’s 29-point victory over Berwick.

Narre North’s Austin Fardell, Julian Gierlitz and Darcy Mirabile combined up forward to kick eight goals in the Foxes’ demolition of Berwick Springs, while Narre South went down to Carrum Patterson Lakes.

UNDER 18 GIRLS

Devon Meadows had a tough loss to Karingal, Narre North Foxes had a tight win over Langwarrin and Berwick and Officer also had wins, Ava Cipriani showed her class up forward with two goals.
