Cockatoo Country Market

The Cockatoo Country Market are hosting their annual twilight market on Saturday 5 March. There will be free entertainment, food trucks, market stalls, local musicians and a family friendly atmosphere.

Time: 3pm-8pm. Location: Alma Treloar Reserve.

Clean Up Australia Day- Lakeside

The Lakeside Residents Group will be hosting a clean up Australia Day on March 6 10am to 12pm. Meeting point is the Dragon Park in Lakeside. After two years of not being able to run this event we are hoping to attract a large group of people to tackle the wetlands and parklands where a lot of rubbish has accumulated. All participants will receive a participation certificate.

Open Gardens Victoria Brookdale Farm

The farm has been developed over the last 20 years. Garden has a focus on plants, flowers and foliage materials and uses recycles, repurposed and reused materials for display and function throughout.

The event will take place on Saturday 5 March and Sunday 6 March at 12 Charman Avenue, Emerald, from 10am-4.30pm.

Narre Warren and District Family History Group

Dennis Frank founder of Fallen Diggers will be the guest speaker this month. Dennis believes that it is important that our men lost on the battlefields of war are found and dignified by having their name inscribed on their headstone. Fallen Diggers have so far identified 37 missing soldiers on the WW1 battlefields. One of those soldiers is 6987 Private Charles Arthur Eacott of Longwarry. Join us and hear how Fallen Diggers came to be formed and the work they are doing to identify the missing.

PSI Motorsport Grand Opening and Car Meet

The grand opening of the new motorsport shop will be celebrated with a car meet. There will also be food, including kebabs and donuts, and fun activities including mortal kombat and street fighter arcade machines.

Cook4Cald Bollywood Workshop

Cook4Cald is hosting five Sundays of free community events starting 6 March. Each week a new workshop will be on offer. A Bollywood Dance Workshop will be on offer this Sunday, run by two people trained in traditional Sri Lankan and Indian dance styles.

Cuppa and Chat

An open social group at Cranbourne West Community Group for anybody wanting to meet new people in the community.

This takes place every Wednesday from 10.30-11.30am and bookings are not needed.

Games Club

People of all ages are being encouraged by Casey City Council to get down to Cranbourne West Community Centre and play different board games.

The Games Club takes place every Friday until 2 April from 1.00-3.00pm.

Line Dancing

The Cranbourne Senior Citizens Club encourages you to come along for a fun morning of line dancing from 9.30am – noon each Monday at the Senior Citizens Hall – 1 Codrington St, Cranbourne. Call 0432 107 590 for more information.

New Vogue and Old Time Dance

The dancing mornings run by the Cranbourne Senior Citizens Club take place from 1-3pm each Tuesday and from 7.30-11pm on the fourth Friday of every month. It takes place at the Senior Citizens Hall – 1 Codrington Street, Cranbourne. Call 0432 107 590 for more information.

Carpet Bowls:

Come and Try Day

The Casey Warriors Rugby League Club will be hosting a Come and Try Day on Friday 11 March.

Coaching staff will be present. People are encouraged to bring running shoes and a water bottle to the free event.

Lakeside market Pakenham

The market will take place in front of the Cardinia Cultural Centre with a selection of gourmet food and drink trucks, live music and local makers stalls including: fashion, homewares, art, pet products, baked goods, plants and more.

The market is held on the third Sunday of every month. This month, it will be held on Sunday 20 March from 10am-2pm.
