A drink driver blew a staggeringly 0.101, while a young child waited patiently in the backseat on 30 June.
Officers from Casey Highway Patrol intercepted a vehicle on Heatherton Road in Endeavour Hills on Tuesday night.
Police discovered that the driver, a 35-year-old man from Pakenham, was travelling with a disqualified licence.
A breath test was conducted and the man returned a reading of 0.101, while his partner and a child remained in the car.
The man will have to attend the Dandenong Magistrates Court in the coming months to explain his actions.
