Nominations for the Australia Day Awards 2019 close next Sunday 25 November, marking the last chance to nominate individuals and community events that make an outstanding contribution to the local community.
The Cardinia Shire Australia Day Awards 2019 are an important way of recognising the local champions living in the community.
Award categories include:
– Citizen of the Year
– Young Citizen of the Year
– Senior Citizen of the Year
– Community Event of the Year
Australia Day Awards are presented by the Mayor at a special event on Australia Day, 26 January 2019. A citizenship ceremony will also be held, followed by activities for families.
