The community flocked in the hundreds to enjoy the Pakenham Picnic Food Truck Festival at the Pakenham Racecourse from 19 to 21 October.

The outdoor event set across three days showcased an array of food trucks, outdoor bars, live music and market stalls, along with plenty of rides and activities for the kids.

The food trucks offered a wide variety of cuisines, including burgers, calamari, curries, loaded wedges, falafel and doughnuts.

An outdoor bar precinct offering craft beer and fine wines complimented the rotation of food trucks.

There was plenty for the kids to do, with a screening of Moana, a reptile show from Gumbuya World, and lawn games.

The crowds were also treated to live performances from the likes of Matt McMahon, James Franklin and Wacca the Gumtree Drummer.
