With just one round left to play in the SEFNL home and away season, NICK CREELY has taken a look at the individuals that have performed consistently across the 2018 season in the best and fairest form guide for each club.

Based on the SEFNL website throughout the season, clubs have entered their best players each round, with notable names featured every single week. It gives the perfect indication of who has excelled this season.

Whether it’s a midfield masterclass, a dominant defensive display, an influential rucking performance or a good old fashioned bag of goals, the best and fairest honours those who shone brightest in the pursuit of silverware.

Reigning premiers Berwick have had many stars compile quality campaigns, but boom recruit Travis Tuck leads narrowly to competition superstars Bryce Rutherford and Madi Andrews with just one round left to play.

Looking ahead to the minor premiers Narre Warren, and midfield jet Brad Scalzo leads the Magpies, in what has been an extraordinary year of ball hunting in the middle. Col McNamara has been unbelievably consistent and is the challenger to Scalzo in the final round.

Of the other clubs in the competition, Jake Bowd leads the way at Beaconsfield, reliable defender Glenn Osborne is in front at Cranbourne, Matt Stapleton has been phenomenal in a tough year for Doveton, James Waldon has excelled in defence for Officer, James Harrison and Stephen Morey are tied at Pakenham, while Luke McKenna has stormed home at Tooradin.

Here’s a look at the contenders for each club with only one weekend left before finals:
