Representatives from the Casey Netball Association are spreading their wings after earning selection for several tournaments to be played across Australia.
Brooke Hunter, Isabella O’Shanassy and Brooklyn Prescott have been selected to represent Victoria in the Under 12s at the prestigious School Sport Australia Pacific School Games in Adelaide, beginning on Monday 3 December.
Darcy McMahon, Olivia Helder, Scarlett Trotter, Isabelle Simonton, Hayley Woolfe and Seb Grammeri have been selected for this week’s Junior Indoor Nationals in Queensland, while Daniel Evans will represent Victoria in the Under 23 section of the Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Association (AMMNA) championships to be held in Sydney in April next year.
Casey Netball Association Squad and Marketing Coordinator Holly Booth said the association was super proud of the player’s achievements.
“This is a significant achievement for players from our association and we are incredibly proud of all 10 of them,” Booth said.
“Casey Netball Association has a range of programs to support players to enhance their game and further develop in the sport. Of the 10 players selected, seven have been a part of our Casey Squad Program and five have participated in the Casey Emerging Talent Academy.
Booth said all of the players were committed to the CNA and making it a better place to play netball.
“They all play weekly at Casey Stadium for their club teams, Daniel and Seb umpire as well, so it’s great to see all their hard work and dedication pay off.”
