A couple holidaying in Las Vegas have been caught up in yesterday’s shooting tragedy.
Tori Antoniou from Devon Meadows and Daniel Quinn from Lang Lang were nearby when the shooting began.
So far 59 people have been reported as being killed and more than 500 injured in the United States’ worst shooting massacre in recent history.
“Truly the most terrifying thing we’ve ever experienced,” Tori said.
“We are now OK and feeling a little safer in our hotel rooms at Aria (Resort and Casino).”
The gunman opened fire from the window of a nearby hotel room onto an audience at a concert. It is unclear if he then killed himself or was shot by police.
Gazette reporters are now trying to get more details from Tori and Daniel.
