A woman has died in a horror Father’s Day three-car collision in Lang Lang.
Major Collision Investigation Unit officers are investigating the circumstances of the collision on the South Gippsland Highway just after 2pm on Sunday 3 September.
Police have been told that a vehicle was travelling along the highway when it veered across to the other side of the road and collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
A third car went off the road after swerving to avoid a subsequent collision.
The male driver of the first car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The female driver and single occupant of the car that was struck, whose identity has not been released, died at the scene.
The male and female occupants of the third vehicle were uninjured.
