Family fund-raiser

The wider community has organised a fund-raiser in support of Officer mother Shauna Cahill, who is suffering from debilitating pain from mesh inserted during a surgery to treat pelvic organ prolapse.
Held at the Beaconsfield Neighbourhood Centre, the family fun day will feature a mini market, face painting, balloons, raffle, fire truck demonstration and a range of activities for all ages.
Proceeds will benefit Shauna, as she prepares to undergo costly surgery to remove the infected mesh.

Quran exhibition

Pakenham residents are invited to explore the Quran at Pakenham Library. The exhibition will include Qurans translated in multiple languages and a display about calligraphy. Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association will also be available to answer questions.

U3A art exhibition

U3a Cranbourne are holding an art exhibition, Come along and see what wonderful work your local U3A Cranbourne members have produced.

Wine and wildlife

Healesville Sanctuary is teaming up with Yarra Valley icons to host an amazing wildlife and gourmet experience – Wine and Wildlife – over the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend.
Between the hours of 11am and 4pm, visitors can enjoy wines from De Bortoli Winery and Nolan Wines, mulled cider by Napoleon and Co., a cheese indulgence, and Kennedy and Wilson chocolate tastings, as they cosy up to roaring open fires.

    General admission tickets are $30.80 per adult, $23.60 for concession tickets, $27.70 for seniors and children under the age of 16 are free.
