Police swooped on an address on Melissa Way, Pakenham, in the early hours of Friday 24 March when investigators executed a search warrant as part of an on-going drug investigation.
Officers attached to the Dandenong Divisional Response Unit (DRU) forced entry to the premises and located a quantity of methylamphetamine.
A 21-year-old Rowville man was arrested at the scene.
He was charged with trafficking methylamphetamine and released on bail to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 1 May.
Inspector Michael Daly said police target drugs and drug related offences and that offenders would be caught.
The DRU was established in August 2016 to target organised crime and drug trafficking throughout the Greater Dandenong Casey Cardinia Police Service areas.
