Art and culture heritage organisations are encouraged to apply for the Visions of Australia regional exhibitions touring program.
A total of $2.4 million is available to local organisations to develop or tour exhibitions.
La Trobe MP Jason Wood said the program gave Australians the opportunity to experience quality art and culture exhibitions that might not otherwise be able to travel to regional areas.
“It’s an opportunity to share La Trobe’s unique arts and culture throughout Australia,” Mr Wood said.
“Each tour must include at least three venues outside of Victoria with tours to regional venues a higher priority for funding,” Mr Wood said.
Two application rounds are held each year, in February for funding to commence from 1 July, and October for funding to commence the following January.
Applications for this round close on Friday 10 March at 5pm AEDST.
