YEAR 12 students at Kooweerup Secondary College, their familes and staff attended the annual valedictory dinner on Friday 11 November at the Pakenham Racecourse.
The school community of about 500 members celebrated the graduation of these students and farewelled them after the completion of their exams.
Students were acknowledged for their efforts academically through subject dux awards, leadership positions and for involvement in extra curricula activities.
The following students were recipients of the major awards for the night:
– VCAL awards: Anthony Chatfield and Shakira Kendall.
– VCE Coordinator Awards: Nathan Ingram and Shae Shaw-Remy.
– Learning Community Assistant Awards: Thomas Close, Hayley Jessiman, Emily Leenen and Gemma Mintern-Hibbert.
– Learning Community Leader Awards: Jesse Cammarano and Mary McGindle.
– Art Award: Lakeisha Binaisse.
– RSL Citizenship Award: Nikita Stokkel.
– Bendigo Bank Award: Amy Gregorovich and Stephen Hawkins.
– KWRSC Academic Award: Lauren Booth.
– Masonic Lodge Award: Tayla Marshall.
– ADF Award: Georgina Finch.
– Caltex Allrounder Award: Maddyson Finlay-Smith.
