PREP kids at Kooweerup Primary School dressed up as old people to celebrate being ‘old veterans’ for the day at the school routine on their 100th day of school.
Their exciting day began with a parade to show off the students’ fancy senior attire.
Looking around the room you could see many walking sticks assisting the students to move about, spectacles, slippers, grey hairstyles and most importantly lots of smiles and laughs by all.
The students then got busy writing about what they will be doing when they reach 100 years of age during the ‘100 days of school’ celebration on Wednesday 27 July.
Seth wrote, “I will need a walking stick and glasses and a moustache”.
Eric wrote, “I will wear my slippers down the street and have a cup of tea” while Kaiden proposed he would “get younger people to help (him) do things.”
To end their day, students enjoyed a much-anticipated class party with food and dancing.
