THE COOPERS have welcomed their fifth generation female to the family.
The birth of Vanessa Cooper’s new baby girl Kuvira Graham has meant the Cooper family now has five living-generations of women: Vanessa’s great-nan Mavis Fraser, nanna Maureen Young, mum Tracey Cooper, sister Rebecca Cooper and one-month-old daughter Kuvira Graham.
“Girls rule,” the Pakenham young mum said.
“I’d say it’s pretty rare for a family to have so many girls at the same time.
“Dad’s always completely outnumbered by girls. He likes us going out so he can have his own space I think,” she laughed.
Vanessa said each of the women in their family share a strong bond.
Mavis, 91, and Maureen, 67, even live next door to one another.
“We’re always hanging out and looking after each other. We all have a good connection,” Vanessa said.
“We’re all fairly creative and artistically minded. We love drawing, going to beaches and cooking together at family events.”
