A HIGH-SPEED road and air chase across the state ended up in Lang Lang with one of the gang being savaged by a police dog and stolen firearms, drugs, thousands of dollars in cash and stolen cars being seized.
The car chase spanned hundreds of kilometres and involved several police vehicles, the police Air Wing and Dog Squad.
The incident ended with the gang splitting up, spreading out in all directions on foot and jumping fences to get away from pursuing police.
One of the gang was left needing plastic surgery.
