LOVE will be in the air at two romantic spots in Berwick this Valentine’s Day.
Wilson Botanic Park and the Old Cheese Factory are scheduled to host romantic events to celebrate the day of love on Sunday 14 February 2016.
Couples are invited to share a romantic evening at Wilson Botanic Park with the screening of romantic comedy 50 First Dates under the stars in the amphitheatre.
Attendees can pre-purchase a picnic pack or bring your own movie snacks for the event which starts at 6.30pm with a 9pm movie screening.
If that’s not your cup of tea, a high tea event may please.
The Homestead Cafe will host a high tea among their beautiful garden on Sunday 14 February.
Couples are invited to relax at a table or on a picnic rug while they soak up the music, have a dance or play some old-fashioned games in the gardens.
High tea includes fresh homemade scones, hot savouries, dainty tea sandwiches, delicious cakes and a glass of sparkling wine or beer.
City of Casey Mayor Sam Aziz said: “We are so fortunate to have two picturesque outdoor venues which both provide beautiful settings for a romantic Valentine’s Day.
“Couples can choose to visit Wilson Botanic Park Berwick for a picnic and screening of romantic comedy, 50 First Dates, in the amphitheatre, or a relaxed and refined high tea among the Old Cheese Factory gardens may be more to their liking”.
