THERE was a buzz in the air at St Clare’s Primary School’s first twilight market on Friday 4 December.
Students from the Officer School helped prepare for the market event, creating their own mystery jars, Christmas cards and Christmas crafts ahead of the event.
More than 1000 people came to the first annual market which included 46 stalls selling everything from jewellery to slushies.
Administrative Officer Ann Molino said students, parents, friends and family enjoyed the relaxed community atmosphere event.
“We are pleased with the amazing turn out and generous support from the whole community who came together to help our night run without a hitch,” she said.
We had well over 1000 people come through our twilight market, which is a fabulous turn out, for a little school which is still getting its name on the map.
“Nights like this don’t happen without such generous spirits and time.”
