THERE will be loads of entertainment for the entire family when the Follow Baptist Church has its official opening this weekend.
The public launch of Follow Baptist Church will be held on Sunday (11 October) with a service and a community festival featuring face painting, a petting zoo, a jumping castle, carnival games, live music and a free barbecue.
Lead pastor Luke Williams encouraged everyone to attend.
“We are really excited about this day as we feel it is a great opportunity to bless our community and get to know and connect with new people,” he said.
“We also believe it is just the beginning of us contributing to the local community.
“We don’t aim to simply be a church in the community but rather to be a church that is a key part of the community, bringing practical support and a message of hope and love.”
The launch will be held at the Toomah Community Centre, on Golden Greet Street in Pakenham. The service will begin at 10.30am and run until 11.45 and the fun-filled community festival will run from noon until 2.30pm.
