A LONG-TERM health carer at a Bunyip aged care facility will be sorely missed by residents.
Vicky O’Hehir, who has been the diversional therapist at Hillview Bunyip Aged Care for the past 16 years, recently left her post at the centre.
The decision was not an easy one for Vicky – but one needed to make way for her and her husband’s long-held dream to open their own business.
Vicky left the facility to run a cafe in Cowes, close to family and the beautiful surrounds of the coast.
Residents, staff, the board of management and volunteers helped farewell Vicky, who accepted a bouquet of flowers from Hillview CEO Frank Hoff for her years of care.
The event also included a concert with performances by Noel Anstey, Stuart Camp, and Sharon Gawler as well as a recital by Keith Wilkinson.
