ONE-HUNDRED handmade quilts will adorn the walls of the Kooweerup Community Centre later this month at a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Network Australia.
The quilts will be on display as part of the third Kooweerup QuiltFest, a weekend event which will also showcase a variety of items including handmade cards, handbags, jewellery and cushions.
Select items will be available for purchase with a percentage of each sale being donated to the Breast Cancer Network to fund research.
A raffle will also be held with the winner taking home a beautiful black, white and red quilt, second prize being a sewing hamper and third prize a set of embroidered towels.
The QuiltFest will be held on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September at the Kooweerup Community Centre on Rossiter Road.
Raffle winners will be drawn on Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm.
Quilters interested in displaying or selling their handiwork should contact Di Patten on 0427 540 494.
