SFL – DIVISION 2

WINNING ways are over at Keysborough… at least for now as the Burra’s undefeated start in SFL Division 2 was ended in a two-point nail-biter against Oakleigh District.
Neck and neck throughout the clash, the wayward kicking of both sides came back to haunt Keysborough in particular with 9.11 (65) not enough to undo Oakleigh District’s 9.13 (67).
Jake Dunn and Tyson King bagged four goals each while Daniel Morland, Michael Downie and Reece Spadaccini were best afield. Keysborough will host Heatherton after the bye.
Doveton Eagles was brushed aside by Hampton 10.6 (66) to 15.10 (100).
DIVISION 3
Endeavour Hills smashed Hallam under lights by 40 points with Hallam’s Matt Neve and Endeavour Hills’ Shane Peake both slotting four majors.

VWFL – DIVISION 1
RETURNING from the break with a bang, Cranbourne smashed past Melbourne Uni – and Endeavour Hills had a 40-point triumph over Kew.
In an absolute canter Cranbourne was far too strong – blasted 92 unanswered points against Melbourne Uni as Kirsten Macleod and Bianca Jakobsson bagged four goals each.
Sitting third with a 5-1-1 record, Cranbourne hosts Bendigo on Sunday from 2pm.
DIVISION 3
In its first closely-fought match of the year, Endeavour Hills had to battle to knock over Kew, but flew away in the second half via Siona Pilkington (3 goals) while Maria Pickering, Ashlee Ladson and Amanda Hancock were best afield. The final score Endeavour Hills 9.4 (58) to Kew 2.6 (18).
The unbeaten Falcons firsts face Deer Park at home from 12pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile Endeavour Hills’ East Division knocked off Knox by 31.
