THE Nar Nar Goon Football Club will hold a ‘come and try day’ tomorrow, Thursday 19 March from 5pm at the club’s Spencer Street ground.
The day will be targeted at the under-12 and under-14 age groups as the club broadens its junior program through the South East Juniors (SEJ) competition.
An exciting new chapter will begin this season for junior football at the Goon, with three teams entered into the SEJ – the under-10s, under-12s, and under-14s – following the successful introduction of the under-10s last year.
Accredited coaches and team managers have been appointed to give juniors the right environment to learn and enjoy football in a family-friendly atmosphere, for which the Goon has long been known for. The Goon is well positioned to expand its junior structure with the opportunities the SEJ organisation can provide for growth now and into the future.
A sausage sizzle and soft drinks will be provided after the come and try day.
