AN important part of schooling is turning young men and women into community leaders of the future.
At Kooweerup Secondary College, the leadership program is taken seriously, with school captains and house captains playing an important role in mentoring younger students and helping shape the character of the school.
This year’s school captains are Amy Davis and Lachlan Lyons.
The school also announced its house captains for Bass, Flinders, Mawson and Sturt.
