NOTCHING up his century in the junior ranks, Pakenham utility Jarrod Price-Hamling ran though his 100th game banner on Sunday.
The under-17s ruck/forward notched the milestone match at Toomuc Reserve against Beaconsfield – a place Price-Hamling is familiar with having spent most of his time since under-10s under the packs and taking big marks as a proud Pakenham Lion.
Jarrod’s dedication to footy has him seen miss only five training sessions and two games in the last six years.
Running through the banner against the Eagles the result didn’t go Pakenham’s way – as the Lions were downed by 78 points on Sunday morning.
Jarrod’s team mates – some of which he has played with since he was nine – nonetheless felt it fitting to put their mate on their shoulders and carry him off to big cheers from his family, friends and the Pakenham faithful.
