THE P.B. Ronald Reserve will be the centre of excitement again as the National Youth Week festival takes over town.
From 11am until 4pm, an expo for 19-25 year olds will present activities ranging from South Eastern League Skate and BMX competition, live music, rides, barbecues and plenty more.
MyBus will also be there along with an area showcasing education and community involvement options available across the Cardinia Shire.
Cardinia Council’s youth services officer Heather Johnson said there would be plenty there to cater for all the targeted ages.
“A dedicated group of young people worked with council staff on the National Youth Week committee, and we’ve had the best time organising this year’s events. It will be wonderful to see it all come to life,” she said.
National Youth Week is being celebrated across Australia from Friday 4 to Sunday 13 April. It provides young people in the community with the chance to showcase hidden and well known talents while making new friends and connections.
National Youth Week Festival is supported by the Cardinia Council in partnership with the Victorian and Australian governments.
