True love never did run smooth

LOSE yourself in the mystery and excitement of one of Shakespeare’s most entertaining plays where nothing is as it seems.
Presented by St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar School, this take on Twelfth Night is set in contemporary Melbourne and many will recognise the locations and images of the capital city.
The plot includes Viola and her twin brother Sebastian, who lose each other prior to arriving at Flinders Street Station.
Viola disguises herself as a young man and seeks employment from a famous musician who is in love with Olivia, a Melbourne socialite.
Chaos ensues with mistaken identity, badly behaved relatives and love directed to the wrong person.
As with all good stories, however, all turns out well in the end.
Come and enjoy the interpretation of this classic Shakespearean tale – some may recognise the plot line of the recent film She’s the Man.
Performances are on Friday 28 March at 7.30pm and Saturday 29 March at 2pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are available online www.stmargarets.vic.edu.au or contact 9703 8143.
