Weekend What’s On

A yoga course kicks off this Friday night in Narre Warren South.


Traditional yoga

Yoga works on the principle of holding a unique body position to revitalise and balance one’s mind and body. Classes based on Asthana and Hatha yoga systems will be held at Oakgrove Community Centre on Fridays. All abilities welcome.

Antique fair

The bet of decades past will be on offer this weekend at the 14th annual Pakenham Antique and Collectables Fair.
Visitors will be able to browse a range of antique goods, or have their own items valued from 1pm.

  • Saturday 29 July from 9am to 4pm at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, Pakenham. Entry is $5 per person; children are free. All profits will go to the 4Cs Crisis Relief Centre.


Something for seniors

Come and try a game of table tennis with the Narre Warren Seniors Club. Male and female players are welcome. Friendly games just for fun and exercise. Entry fee is $1 and sharing coffee, tea and biscuits makes it a social morning with friends. Free coaching is provided.

Taste of Tamworth

Put four multi-award winners together in one big concert, and you have got a Taste of Tamworth at its best!
Golden Guitar winners, Carter and Carter and Luke O’Shea team up with the Toyota Starmaker winner, Karin Page and Anthony Taylor to give you your best ‘Taste Of Tamworth’ yet. Each act brings their own unique form of music and personality to the stage, coming together for a fun filled finale.

Locally made woodwork stall

Cardinia Men’s Shed Pakenham are setting up in the Pakenham plaza to show and sell the things they have been making.
Items include rocking horses, rocking zebras & elephants, go carts and much more.

Springvale Snow Fest

The streets of Springvale will be filled with snow straight from Mt Buller, rides, free kids activities, live music, market and food stalls and fireworks.
