Two teenagers armed with a hammer and a knife threatened a milk bar worker before making off with hundreds of dollars in cash.
It is alleged that two males entered the milk bar on Bemersyde Drive, Berwick, about 7.45pm on Sunday 28 May.
Detective Senior Constable Ange Butler said the teenagers fled, leaving behind a “very shaken” non-English speaking service attendant.
“The amount stolen was approximately $600,” she said.
Following the incident, a 15-year-old male was arrested on Hedgeley Drive, Berwick.
A second 15-year-old male was arrested at a Berwick address a short time later.
Police have charged both teenagers with armed robbery. They have been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
