The Mobile Library Service’s first ever stop at Nar Nar Goon Primary School was enthusiastically welcomed on Thursday 23 March.
The service was previously only provided at Maryknoll and Cockatoo locations so its visit to the town was eagerly anticipated.
Casey Cardinia Libraries’ CEO Chris Buckingham said the launch of the new service was a great success.
“We are delighted to extend the service to Nar Nar Goon,” Mr Buckingham said.
“The smiles on people’s faces last Thursday was inspiring.”
He said while the new service was still in its trial phase, the early signs were encouraging.
“Initial indications show that everyone is happy with the new timetable,” Mr Buckingham said.
Feedback on the trial can be given to CCL directly via feedback@cclc.vic.gov.au, by calling 5990 0100 or visiting the mobile library when it is in town.
