Wild Dogs are ready to snarl

The Warragul and District Cricket Association has announced the squad that will represent the competition later this month in Division 3 of the Victorian Country Cricket League (VCCL) Melbourne Country Week.

The Wild Dogs will open their campaign on Monday, 18 February against Goulburn Murray at Toorak Park, before then facing Hamilton District the following day at Gordon Barnard Reserve in Balwyn North.

They’ll then battle the South West Cricket Association at JK Grant Reserve in Altona on the Wednesday, before taking on Bellarine Peninsula in Hoppers Crossing in Round 4 on Thursday the 21st.

The final, should the WDCA make it, will be played on Friday the 22nd at Beach oval in Brighton.

Fraser Duncan will skipper the Wild Dogs, with Jack Armour his deputy.
