Probians make up for lost time

The Probus Club of Pakenham committee is looking forward to a busy year. From left: Denise Roberts, Kay Young, Pat Sherwell, Rodney James, president Tess Robinson, Doreen Stitt, Sendy de Wit, Joan Vogels OAM, Pat King, vice-president Michael Viljoen, Di C. Roberts.

Annual General Meetings are usually a celebration of those who have worked supporting the club throughout the previous year and also a welcome to the volunteers who excitedly plan for the time ahead.

Despite the club being in its 33rd year, the committee positions have been filled and the Probus Club of Pakenham still has plenty of Fun, Friendship and Fellowship to share around, with imaginative things already in the pipeline for a great year ahead.

Enthusiasm is the asset we share as we look forward to resuming what has been in the past, and endeavouring to overlook the disadvantages that we suffered during the lockdown periods. How we missed each other and our activities, but the time has arrived to be up, up and away relishing every moment.

There is also space for some new members, so if you are retired or semi-retired and would like to meet similarly minded people please ring the President Tess Robinson 0423 194 725 or e-mail tessrobinson25@gmail.com for information.
