An iconic Chanel face mask was bought for $325, following a virtual auction to raise funds for Endometriosis Australia.

Organised by Berwick tailor Hanh Tran from Artistic Styling, more than 20 residents joined the Zoom call and combined, raised $1150 for the important organisation.

“It was nerve racking, heart pumping and a little intense,” she said.

“But the support has been amazing.”

Endometriosis Australia is an organisation that endeavours to increase recognition of endometriosis, provide educational programs and help fund research.

“Endometriosis is something that sits close to my heart due to personal experiences,” she added.

“I can’t stress enough how underrated and misunderstood this disease is.

“Nearly one million women suffer from this disease in Australia but we all find it hard to talk about it.”
