Children hurt by hit-run driver

The driver of the offending vehicle fled the scene.

A woman and three children were left injured following a hit-run collision in Pakenham on Tuesday 21 January.

Police understand a silver Toyota sedan, believed to be stolen and displaying stolen numberplates, collided head on with a blue Ford sedan on Toomuc Valley Road just before 10.30pm.

The driver of the Ford, a 37-year-old Pakenham woman, two girls aged 13 and 11, and a 10-year-old boy, all sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Toyota did not stop to assist and fled the scene.
